There are three basic elements of pressing Fusible Interlining: pressing temperature, pressing time and pressing pressure. Pressing temperature is the primary factor for pressing and bonding. In order to achieve the best combination of fabric and linings, temperature conditions must be well controlled. The pressing temperature has a direct effect on the strength, elasticity and stiffness of the adhesive fabric. Pressing time is a supplementary condition for temperature. Proper pressing time can make the hot melt adhesive fully soak the fabric and diffuse into the fabric, which is conducive to the enhancement of peeling strength. However, too long press time will lead to the phenomenon of glue penetration, but the peel strength will decrease. Pressing pressure varies according to the type of hot melt adhesive, and requires comprehensive consideration based on experience and effect.
